I founded Box+Wood in late 2019 after years in the wedding industry. While there were many aspects of my previous job that I enjoyed, I struggled with being in a “sales-heavy” role, where I felt I had very little control over the final result. I knew when I left that job, I wanted to be in a role where I could be involved in every step of the process, from start to finish.
The general idea for Box+Wood had been floating around in my head for a few years, but the specifics changed so much from inception to now. While we originally planned to focus on wedding gifting + a storefront, 2020 brought along a lot of changes and we quickly shifted to focus on corporate gifts!
While this is not what I originally imagined, I could not be more grateful to have ended up in an industry that I enjoy so much! Whether we are working to create a custom gifting campaign for a new client or sending pre-designed employee onboarding gifts for an ongoing client, I'm excited to show up and problem-solve for our clients every day. And as we’ve grown, we have built a team that is as excited as I am for each and every client we get to work with!
While a lot has changed from our beginning, we still are 100% client-centered, detail-oriented, and grounded in gratitude.
